Hi-Stor Technologies specialises in providing technologies, systems and solutions for the data storage industry. Founded in 1997 in an MBO from Pertec France, Hi-Stor has sales activities both in USA and in Europe. Hi-Stor business model involves developing advanced technologies under long-term contracts with majors from the storage industry, increasing its expertise and intellectual property both in hardware (optical recording, tape recording...) and developing and selling world wide its own storage software products for protection and management of IT and multimedia contents.

Hi-Stor is recognised by its international customers as a key partner in creating new technologies and system for vertical market and recently introduced a major breakthrough in the broadcast market with MXF archive systems.

Role in the project

Hi-Stor will be the technical coordinator of the Project.

Hi-Stor research and development will be concentrated on introducing into mass storage systems new features and capabilities enabling the local indexation of content. It will also coordinate the technical core activities around the rich content management and interfaces with the indexation agents, ingest process and query servers.
